I don’t like my double chin. Can the CoolSculpting® procedure help me lose it?
Yes, CoolSculpting® can treat visible fat bulges under the chin. Freezing away fat from a double chin is as effective as using the CoolSculpting® procedure on other parts of the body (e.g., abdomen, flank/side, thighs). With CoolSculpting® fat freezing treatment for a double chin, patients may see results after just 2 visits.
Am I a good candidate for the CoolSculpting® procedure?
The CoolSculpting® fat-reduction procedure is specifically designed for those who have unwanted fat in targeted areas. Unlike weight-loss surgery (e.g. gastric bypass), the CoolSculpting® procedure is not a weight-loss solution for people who are obese. Good candidates for the CoolSculpting® cryo procedure have noticeable bulges in certain areas they’d like to get rid of. CoolSculpting® is a non-surgical alternative to liposuction.

Where does the fat go? Are the results permanent?
Treated stubborn fat cells become waste products and are permanently eliminated in the body via the lymphatic system. Results are permanent for treated fat cells only and we recommend you to lead a healthy lifestyle to maintain results.
How much will my treatment cost?
The cost of each area varies depending on the number of cycles or sessions required for your desired result.
We recommend booking a free consultation with one of our trained therapists who will give you an assessment and tailored treatment plan.
Is PRP available at all clinics?
No, PRP is available at select clinics only. Please see the clinic finder to see participating clinics.
What part(s) of my body can I treat with CoolSculpting®?
CoolSculpting® targets and sculpts stubborn fat in the areas that are most resistant to change. Our treatment areas consist of the upper, mid, and lower abdomen, flanks (love handles), chin, arms, inner and outer thigh, bra fat, and knees.
Can the CoolSculpting® procedure reduce fat anywhere on my body?
CoolSculpting® can treat visible fat bulges in the submental area (under the chin), thigh, abdomen, and flank (love handle), along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll) and upper arm.
Create a customised treatment plan that's tailored to your body and your individual goals during your complimentary consultation.
How many CoolSculpting® sessions are required before I see results?
After one CoolSculpting® session, you may start to see changes in as quickly as three weeks as your body naturally eliminates dead fat cells, but most clients notice a reduction in the fat layer within 2 to 4 months after the procedure.
The fat cells will continue to process and eliminate for up to 6 months with an expectation of a 20-25% reduction with each treatment. For this reason, identifying your treatment goals during your consultation is key.
What is PRP?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a Cosmetic Injectable treatment by which a person’s own blood is used. Platelets are vital in the process of tissue healing, and the growth of new cells. PRP thereby promotes collagen production, regenerates the skin tissue, and essentially re-energises your cells into rejuvenating themselves. The release of growth factors accelerates the healing process. PRP softens fine lines and wrinkles, tightens the skin, and improves skin tone and texture.
Does the CoolSculpting® system have safety features?
CoolSculpting® is supported by over 20 years of research and development, and as the leading non-invasive fat reduction technology world wide CoolSculpting® has a well-established safety and efficacy profile. CoolSculpting® systems are controlled cooling devices designed with built-in safety measures. If sensors detect that the skin is getting too cold, the system will shut down automatically.
Do I have to buy multiple rounds of treatment up front?
No. You can purchase CoolSculpting® treatments session by session. Our CoolSculpting dedicated providers will help you understand what to expect with 1 or multiple rounds of treatment. We do recommend 2 rounds of treatment to achieve about a 40% reduction in the treated area.
