Will Skin Needling help with acne scarring and stretch marks?
Yes. Skin Needling promotes the production of collagen and it's this collagen production that builds the tissue within the stretch marks back up. The result is that the stretch mark and acne scarring indentation is reduced and so does the colour of these scars, in some cases making them disappear completely.
We treat all areas of the body including; the face, neck, back, breasts, decolletage, hips, stomach and hands.
Is Dermal Rolling and Fractional RF (Max RF) painful?
Both treatments have minimal discomfort due to the application of a topical aesthetic prior to the treatment.
How does skin tightening work?
Laser Skin Tightening is designed to stimulate dermal collagen production and help with the regeneration of damaged skin cells. Skin tightening works on both Type 1 + Type 3 collagen which is a fibrous protein, found in the extra cellular matrix (Dermis). This treatment involves heat energy being delivered into the skin to penetrate deep down whilst protecting the upper visible layers and keeping them intact. It does this by deep thermal effect within the dermis causing collagen contracture and denaturation. This will then induce growth factors and stimulate new collagen synthesis which will then replace the old collagen with new fibres that are more compact and organized to give a less wrinkled appearance. Results are seen 3 months post treatments.

What is the difference between Skin Needling and Fractional RF (Max RF)?
Skin Needling and Fractional RF are similar in the sense they both cause a controlled wound which then triggers a healing response where new collagen and elastin fibres are produced. Skin Needling is an organic way of stimulating Collagen and Elastin production whereas Fractional RF uses a combination of dermal stamping and Radio Frequency. Radio Frequency uses deep thermal effects which result in contraction of the collagen fibres. This will give a tightening effect after the treatment.
How long will it take for me to see a result after my treatments?
Each procedure is different – our less invasive treatments (such as Microdermabrasion and superficial Cosmedical Grade Peels) give more immediate results, and our more invasive treatments (such as Fractional RF Skin Needling and deeper Cosmedical Grade Peels) may take up to a month to see full results. These treatments, however, have more lasting impacts than our less invasive treatments. At your complimentary skin consultation, your Skin Therapist will advise on a tailored treatment plan.
