Our Registered Nurse Stephanie Downes has over 13 years of clinical nursing experience, working in medical and surgical areas. Stephanie's ultimate goal is to enhance her clients' natural beauty, assist them to age gracefully, and help them to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.
Stephanie was born and brought up in Queensland. After her schooling, she went on to complete a Diploma in Nursing, before going on to finish a Bachelor of Nursing. She has been nursing for over 13 years now in hospitals, working in many specialties, including general surgical, medical, respiratory, cardiac, oncology, emergency, rehab, urology, chronic pain, orthopedic, palliative care, gynecology, operating theatres, and cosmetic surgical wards.
Stephanie always loved to look after her skin from an early age, and even loved to treat her friends to facials at home for fun. She loves making people feel relaxed and looked after, so she soon decided that cosmetic nursing was a path she wanted to take. Stephanie then went on to complete her Graduate Diploma in Cosmetic Nursing and Injectables and is so excited to have the opportunity to join the Laser Clinics Australia team, as an aesthetic consultant.
In her spare time, Stephanie loves spending time with her family, camping, and relaxing on the beach - always with her sunscreen on of course!
