I started out as a Beauty Therapist 15 years ago which is where I found my love and passion for all things skin. I wanted the ability to provide my clients with holistic therapies hence why I studied Nursing as I wanted to be the one to deliver the results.  I love being able to educate my clients about their entire skin journey including their current skin care regime and building tailored treatment plans that can include all types of in clinic treatments.   No two skins are the same therefore I take a personalised approach with my clients to find out their true needs and desires. Holistic treatment plans include a mix of facials, skin rejuvenation therapies, laser, injectables or skin booster treatments. The opportunities are endless (and exciting)! I would call myself a well rounded Nurse and Skin Therapist with years and years of experience working with some of the industry’s most reputable Nurses and Aestheticians.   When I started out in the industry, I began working in a busy skin clinic in the Eastern Suburbs, performing all types of skin rejuvenation treatments such as laser, skin needling, cosmetic peels and LED Light Therapy. I spent 9 years working in Sydney before moving north to be closer to family.  My husband and I built a beautiful home in Lake Macquarie and have two beautiful children. We love spending time with our family, going to the gym and treating ourselves to great food and wine!   Prior to becoming a Mum, I worked as multi state manager for a reputable skin care brand, travelling frequently to teach Nurses, Doctors and Aestheticians about holistic skin health and how to achieve results using concentrated ingredients and modalities. I was lucky enough to be selected by Richard Parker, Founder of RATIONALE Skincare, to study and role out DNA Testing nationally which focused on educating clients about their genetics and the ingredients they can use to change how their genes are expressed (known as epigenetics).   Once I moved north, I was lucky enough to become Clinic Manager at LCA Kotara where I supported some of LCA’s best Injectors. This is where my love of Cosmetic Procedures formed and I decided it was my time to study nursing.   I have experience working in Emergency Nursing, Community Health and Operating Theatres so have a close attention to detail, especially with all things infection control.   Since starting with LCA as an Aesthetic Consultant, I feel as though my career has come full circle. I am in a place where I can apply my skills and knowledge to each client and tailor treatment plans that are customised to suit their individual needs and desires. I love seeing the immediate results some treatments can achieve however, there is something really special about being on someones skin journey with them and seeing their happy faces when they walk through the clinic door, excited to show me their results.
