Skin Needling

Skin needling – or collagen induction therapy – can also be used as an anti-aging treatment

This is the ideal treatment for helping the skin regenerate by producing collagen and reduce lines and wrinkles. A small roller made up of 192 surgical needles is used on the areas for treatment to stimulate the skin’s production of new collagen in the skin. This stimulation leads to the production of new collagen and elastin – the goal of all regeneration skin treatments – and reduces the appearance of lines. The advantage of this treatment is that it does not remove or harm healthy cells and the skin heals quickly. 

Skin needling is a collagen induction therapy involves the use of a small roller made up of surgical needles. A treatment takes about 60 minutes and requires some anaesthetics. Usually around 2-5 treatments are required. Side effects of the treatment include some skin redness and minor effects from the anesthetic.
