The results

Please see the attached photographs demonstrating the safety and efficacy of the skin tightening laser treatments.

She had skin tightening and secondary wrinkle reduction due to the skin tightening mostly in the cheek and jowl area. The patient was very happy with the results, especially since she is a very busy working mother. There was no down time in this procedure, and it took very little time out of her schedule.

The 1064 nm wavelength used by the Candela GentleYAG is ideal to deliver a thermal stimulus within the dermis. This stimulus initiates new collagen formation resulting in skin tightening. Exceptional results can be achieved on the laser both because of the depth of penetration of the 1064 nm wavelength itself and the low melanin absorption at 1064 nm.

Because epidermal melanin absorbs the 1064 nm energy so poorly, the potential for treatment complications at higher fluences is greatly minimized. The GentleYAG’s ability to treat skin tightening is also due in part to its epidermal cooling system, the DCD. Relatively high fluences can be delivered using the GentleYAG because of consistent and reproducible cryogen spray protection provided with each and every laser pulse.

Consider the market leading Candela GentleYAG for a skin tightening treatment.
